***This Month’s Tip – Real fights are a lot more scrappier than training fights and you’re going to have to modify your blocks and attacks to defend yourself. For a start always attack with more than 2 strikes. This is a decent example of a standard attack - right punch, front kick left punch, right punch, left punch, turning kick. Always remember to quickly attack after a block, if you block too much you won’t get all the strikes and one will hit you (like I said real fights are very scrappy and very fast). If you’re getting hit too many times the best form of blocking would be to step backwards or step to the side as your opponents punches won’t reach. This is a temporary reprieve as now someone has to attack again, and don’t let them chase you.
